Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and RTSoftware ("we", "us") about your use of RT Remote, our website and your account (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them.

1. Who can use RT Remote

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use RT Remote for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

2. Your account

Keep your sign-in details and unattended-access passwords secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and on the computers you register. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

RT Remote gives access to computers. You may only connect to computers you own or have clear permission to access. You must not:

• access or try to access any computer, account or data without authorisation;
• use the Service for fraud, scams ("tech-support" or otherwise), harassment, malware or any unlawful purpose;
• probe, overload, reverse engineer (except where the law allows) or interfere with the Service or its security;
• resell or provide the Service to others in breach of your plan's limits.

We may suspend or end access that we reasonably believe breaks these rules or puts others at risk.

4. Free launch period and plans

RT Remote is free for now. While that is so, every account gets the Solo plan and its limits as shown in the app and on your account page. We may change plans, limits or prices, or introduce paid plans, with reasonable advance notice. Nothing will be charged without your explicit consent. If paid plans are introduced they will be sold through our payment provider and their own terms will apply to those purchases.

5. Your data and privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. You keep ownership of your content; we only process it as needed to provide the Service.

6. Availability and changes

We work to keep RT Remote reliable but do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update, change or discontinue features. We will give notice of material changes where we reasonably can.

7. Software licence

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the RT Remote software for its intended purpose while you comply with these terms. All rights not granted are reserved. Third-party components remain under their own licences.

8. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law permits, we exclude all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, profit or business, or for anything done through a connection you or someone you authorised made. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (which is zero while the Service is free). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Ending the agreement

You can stop using RT Remote and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end the Service or your access as described above. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as 8 and 10) will do so.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law where you live says otherwise.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters we will update the date above and tell you in advance; continuing to use the Service after it takes effect means you accept it.
